Ok, ok, ok!
The 15 week picture is up. 🙂

I had another baby dream last night. Well, a toddler dream, but either way, it was a boy. So that brings the tally to Boy – 2, Girl – 1.
Also, I hit the 15 week mark this morning. Time is really going fast now, but I’m sure it’ll go even faster as the weeks continue. I still haven’t “popped out” yet, but hopefully that’ll come in a week or two.ÂÂ
I had a Dr. visit last Thursday. We got to hear the heartbeat! Our little one is working hard in there! I’ve gained 5.5 pounds too. Actually I’ve lost .5 pounds since my last Dr. visit. Probably because I was eating every 45 minutes before, and for the last 3-4 weeks I’ve been eating normally/healthier again. Feeling great; no more nausea just really really tired.
Yes, we’re sorry about not getting a 14 week picture online. We got really busy last week and didn’t realize it until Thursday or Friday. We’ll try to remember to take one tonight. Not much has changed though.

For the Labor Day weekend, Paul and I went with our church to Cathedral Domain. The Episcopal Diocese of Lexington have over 800 acres of land near Irvine, KY that has a camp and conference center on it. Each church gets ‘a weekend’ at the Domain, and Labor Day is our church’s weekend. It’s a great time to meet members of the church. It’s not a retreat type weekend, it’s more of a ‘come and hang out and meet some people that you see every week’ type thing. It was great.
We could have stayed in a camp with 12 bunk beds on either side and share a restroom, but since it was our first year going, and we didn’t know that many people, we opted for what people referred to as the “Hilton,” which was more of a dorm-type setup, with a double occupancy room with it’s own bathroom. Quite spiffy for a camp!
We got to the Domain Friday night about 915pm, unloaded, then took a walk around to see what the place was like. We met a few people then headed off to bed. We spent the weekend hanging out with new friends, getting to know people, playing games, eating (a lot), sitting by the pool, having a few drinks (well…Paul anyway) and a lot of laughs. We did some hiking, and caving as well. We are really glad we went. We finally got to put names, and life stories to about 50 people that we’ve seen in church for years but never have gotten to know.
We’re really glad for the experience. We want to feel more a part of the church, especially because we’re bringing our little one into it. Everyone was very excited to hear that we are expecting. There were actually 2 other women that were pregnant at the Domain; one due in February, and one in April, so our little one will have instant friends!

I’ve started having dreams about my pregnancy/babies/children lately. Thought it would be fun to keep track of boy baby / girl baby dreams, especially for those who are adamant about it being one over the other *cough*Ashley*cough* 🙂
Anyway, about a week ago, I had a dream that we had a toddler and called it by a girl name…so that was 1 tick-mark for “girl”
Last night I had a dream about my 20ish week ultrasound, and that we saw ‘boy parts’…so that’s a tick-mark for “boy”
So far, Boy = 1 Girl = 1
We’ll see where this goes 😉

I finished reading the 7th and final Harry Potter book this weekend. It’s kind of bittersweet. I knew from the very first book, just as anyone else that have read the books, that there would only be 7, but even as I turned the last page, of the last book, I kept saying to myself “I can’t believe it’s over!”  I was so happy to have so many loose ends tied up and so many surprises about characters revealed!  There wasn’t anything off the top of my head that I would change about the last book or the way it ended. I can’t say that about many books!
I still need to hit the theaters and watch Order of the Phoenix (book 5). I, of course, find that the movies pale in comparison to the books, but isn’t that always the way?ÂÂ
As my disbelief that the series is finally over sets in, I have a feeling I’ll be re-reading all the books again in the coming years.  🙂

So I’ve done the big switch from morning sickness to crabby, unstable, tired, witch (with a different letter). Thanks to those lovely hormones, I feel like I have PMS x1000. For the past few days my eyes have been ‘on the ready’ to bust out in tears at any second. Isn’t life grand?
On another pathetic note, I can barely wear any of my pre-baby clothes anymore. My thighs have started to thicken up so that all my khakis and dress pants for work are a little snug. Even with my belly band, they are getting close to being put in the ‘pre-baby’ stack of clothes in my closet *sigh*

Variety.com – NBC pumps up for ‘Gladiators’ redo
Yes you read that right! The Gladiators show from the 90’s is making a come back. Awesome!

Today marks the 3 month mark in my pregnancy, and the end of the first trimester. I think I’m pretty much past my “all day” sickness, as I’ve only felt bad maybe 1.5 days over the last week. It’s kind of weird because I don’t really ‘feel’ pregnant anymore, since I don’t have the nausea to remind me of what’s going on inside me, and I’m not to the point where I feel any movement. Guess it’s just a waiting and gaining weight period until I start feeling the baby move in a few weeks.
Paul and I have started looking around at color schemes, etc for strollers, car seats and highchairs. I think we want to have all of our registering pretty much finished by Thanksgiving. We figure with the holiday rush and how crazy things are during that time, we won’t have time to think about it. After Christmas, it’ll only be a little over 2 months left!
Check back later tonight for the 12-week belly shot. ugh. 🙂

I haven’t posted awhile about how I’m doing. I’ve actually been feeling a lot better lately. I went to the doctor last Thursday for a checkup and he gave me new prenatal vitamins. The ones I had been taking were making me very sick, and I was at the point of crying before I took them because of how awful I knew I’d feel within 1/2 hour. So, he gave me new ones, and they are great for 3 reasons: 1) They are purple (my fav. color) 2) They are TINY (about the size of a Tylenol) 3) They don’t make me sick.
I’m so excited about hitting the 3 month mark on Tuesday! Time has really flown by since we’ve told everyone. We’ve been really busy lately and I guess that helps too.  I imagine that with all the holidays coming up that my pregnancy will just fly by from this point on.
I have Emmaus training starting up this weekend as well. I’ll be doing that at least once a week until October. The walk is Oct 11-14.
That’s all for now!
