Ugh…the last couple of days have been…well…the best way to describe it is, bleh. I haven’t been sleeping well for awhile now, and it’s just getting worse. I can’t ever get comfortable at night, which makes me tired and grumpy (or should I say more tired and grumpy) the next day. I have to wear maternity clothes now because my ‘pre-baby’ clothes don’t fit anymore, but I’m still not really big enough for maternity tops yet. So I’m grouchy in the mornings and all day because I don’t have clothes that fit or look good enough for work (in my opionion – Paul disagrees). On top of the sleeping and clothing issue is this darn “pregnancy brain.” I can’t remember anything, forget stuf, lose stuff, and feel incompetant at work because I can’t stay as organized or on top of things as I used to. Grr. All I can think right now is…I have 5 more months of this?! I’m sure it’ll get better, just been a yucky couple of days. Ahh…the joys of pregnancy. Gotta love it!

I was in a meeting tonight and thought I felt the baby kick! I of course am not sure if it was really the baby or not…guess I won’t be sure until I feel it again. It felt different than anything I’ve felt before though, which makes me think that it was indeed the baby! It basically felt like a very very soft, teeny tiny, itsy bitsy flick from the inside of me. It was funny because as soon as I felt it, I looked right down at my belly, then starting poking around trying to make the baby kick me again, but of course, one was all I got. Must have been a funny sight for anyone that was watching me!
Anyway…I’ll be waiting for it to happen again to see if it really was the baby!

I was talking to a friend at work the other day about the 20 week ultrasound. She said that she videotaped hers so she could put it online. I called my doctor, and he said he doesn’t have a problem with us taping it. So…we’re going to videotape the entire ultrasound and put it on our youtube page so everyone can see it, plus we should find out what the sex is, so that’ll be an extra perk! We can’t wait! Hopefully this will be a really cool thing we can share with family and friends!

Tuesday, October 16th is the big day! I have my 20 week ultrasound at 2:30 and we are going to try to figure out what we’re having! So, anyone that wants to start putting in their guess can do so by adding a comment to this post. We’ll reward the winner(s) with a big “hurrah!” and of course the satisfaction of guessing correctly.
Paul’s vote is for Boy. Mine is for Girl.
Say some prayers that our little one will have it’s legs spread eagle so that it’s ‘parts’ are visible!

Saw this on an RSS feed and it simply doesn’t surprise me. Emily and I ate there a number of times since they opened in Crestview Hills and every time the service was lousy. I know I am sometimes picky with my service, but it is VERY rare that I won’t leave a at least a 15% tip (I normally leave 20% or more). We always had problems with their service, the kitchen, the food, etc. Its a shame to, because they have some nice, unique, and yummy menu items. Even Ashley blogged about this. We’ve called their corporate offices and sent them emails about the bad service we received. Nothing has really changed. Oh well, there are too many of those style restaraunts anyway.

My brother Brian is officially a Comair First Officer as of yesterday! His first flight, actually flying the jet, with people in it (eep!) is Monday! He’s doing observation flights until then. Last Thursday night, my mom, Ashley, her friend Erin and I went to Riverbend to see Toby Keith. I haven’t really listened to country since I was younger, but we had front row seats (first real row behind the pit) so I was IN! I didn’t know many songs, but he did play some old ones so that was great. We were really really close, got to see his sweat and nipples 🙂 Check out pictures by clicking here. Quite a bit actually. Last weekend I was up in Cleveland for my best friend’s wedding. Congrats to Jason and Cindy! I was best man in the wedding and had a blast. Have you ever been toa wedding where Elvis makes an appearance? I didn’t think so 🙂
The following Monday, I went to the Bengals/Ravens game with Jim. I’ve only been to one other NFL game, and that was last year when I got to sit in Jeff Ruby’s box with Philip. This experience was completely different. In the box seats, it was like sitting in someone’s media room with a huge TV.  In the seats – now that totally makes the game! If I get to go to another one, It’d be fun to do some tailgating before hand. Thanks Jim!

I actually don’t have anything planned this weekend, which is nice. Been a little too busy lately. May be able to get some stuff done around the house and go to Trinity.
