I took a video of the heart monitor that baby Sean is attached to.  Basically there is a tube that connects to his scalp to monitor his heart rate.  Emily is now 100% efaced.

Emily didn’t want to be on video just yet.  We should have some photos of mom-to-be up soon.

the
So the other night I went to return a DVD to the $1 per day DVD kiosk and it was out of order. I called their 800 # and the person on the end I guess remotely rebooted the machine. I watched as XP pro booted into windows and of course…its a PC, I couldn’t just leave it alone! Clicking the photos below will bring you to the gallery with larger images. the photos were taken on my cell phone (thanks dmoney!) so they aren’t the greatest, but still not bad for a cell phone!

onscreen keyboard i pulled up before the DVD store software started to run.
The start menu pulled up by pressing ctrl+esc (windows button seemed to be disabled)
How about some pinball??
Kiosk software pushed down on the screen showing the terminal program running in the background.

I can’t believe it’s over!

I finished reading the 7th and final Harry Potter book this weekend.  It’s kind of bittersweet. I knew from the very first book, just as anyone else that have read the books, that there would only be 7, but even as I turned the last page, of the last book, I kept saying to myself “I can’t believe it’s over!”  I was so happy to have so many loose ends tied up and so many surprises about characters revealed!  There wasn’t anything off the top of my head that I would change about the last book or the way it ended.  I can’t say that about many books!

I still need to hit the theaters and watch Order of the Phoenix (book 5).  I, of course, find that the movies pale in comparison to the books, but isn’t that always the way?

As my disbelief that the series is finally over sets in, I have a feeling I’ll be re-reading all the books again in the coming years.  🙂
