So when do the 90’s come back?
Watching “the killers” tonight on SNL again reminded me how much we are in a loop on audio (and fashion…but thats another post). The Whiny neo-euro-sound (is that emo?) is back again, but not in the Cure kind of way. The keyboards, flashy duran-duran outfits, ugh. Already tired of it.
And to the youth of today – Cut yer hair. Looking like Shaggy from scooby doo is not cool. It is possible to have longish hair and be stylish, but come on. $12 for a haircut is worth it.

This has been slowly creeping into the mainstream for about a year now. Out here on the coast other 80’s throwbacks are emerging as well, and the fashion is the wort part. Fluorescent colors, chunky high tops, and skinny jeans? Come on people….
But for the record, I like the killers. 🙂

I like the Killers, too. 🙂 Sean, Cory and I had a convo about this 2 weeks ago when we were up in Seattle. Shopping for clothes for Cory, we were adamant that no “skinny jeans” enter the dressing room with him. No one who lived in the 80’s thinks this new fashion trend is cool…hmmm. Like Sean said to us, though, “just wait…next we’ll see kids wearing Jnco and Kikwear jeans.” 🙂 (p.s. bewild.com sells them!)
