Went out today and they had taken the tarps and forms off. The foundation looks great! I don’t remember seeing two windows in the basement in the model home (Paul does), but I’m not complaining that they’re there! Here are some pictures from today.

Can’t wait until they start building UP!
Hopefully my family will go out this weekend and see the progress. They haven’t been out since before groundbreaking. It’ll be a nice surprise!
News on our house we’re selling…
We have an inspector coming through today, that should go ok. Hopefully we’ll hear good news on Monday about the lady getting financing squared away, etc!

Congrats you guys. I know you guys are excited about the offer. I know in Texas that if the inspector finds anything it is negotiable in the price of the home. You can give allowances to fix certain things; that way it wont hold up the closing. (I personally fixed the issues myself but you cant always do that.)

Yeah. We only know of 1-2 things offhand that may need to be fixed, but we’ll see. Hopefully we’ll hear from our realtor today about the inspection…

Our buyer requested 3 things. 1. we trim the trees, 2. we plumb the hotwater heater overflow outside the house, 3. fix a cracked header in the attic. I fixed all 3 in one day so it wasnt that bad at all. You just never know what an inspector will find our suggest. Good luck, im sure you will be fine.
