whoo boy…we be lazy

I’m sure the grammar in that post will make my mother shudder, but wow, its been almost three weeks? Facebook has really killed the blogosphere amongst my friends.
So whats new? Well emily and I have joined gyms. She and her mom joined Curves. I heard a lot of good stuff about it from Kurt and Jodie and mentioned it a few times to Emily. so far they both really love it. I joined one of the local Urban Active gyms (what used to be Golds Gym). I’ve been going 3-4 days a week for the last 2-3 weeks now. I really enjoy it. The gym has racquetball, a two lane lap pool, cardio, classes etc. Now I just need to get some ppl at the gym to play R-Ball with me 🙂 (Scott, Chris…you reading this?)
Sean’s second birthday is coming up and we are starting to plan his party 🙂 Sean will be in town (Big Sean) that weekend too. Should be a lot of fun. Want to come to the party? let me know 🙂 I know the chick sending out the invites!

I am jealous you have a place to play rball. I really miss the club I used to play at. Actally just found a church with a court the next town over we are trying to find an open time. Hope you find someone to play with soon.

Yep, I’m reading you 🙂 It might be worth $20 a month to just play racquetball twice a week. Maybe that will motivate me to do more than just that, too. Do you go consistently enough that we could play schedule a time to play each week? Other than the $20 a month, how many other fees were involved with a membership?

I think it was $99 or so out the door ($59 sign up fee plus first and last months payment). I try to go 3-4 days a week and so far I have been successful at doing that. Right now, I go and do the elliptical machine for 30+ minute plus a half mile to a mile cool down around the track. Just trying to get myself in the habit of going first, then I will develop a full workout.
I try to go Tuesday/Thurs/Fri/Sat with Thurs Thurs/Fri being an either/or/both option. I went on Saturday and the place was pretty empty, so I may shoot for both Sat and Sun from now on. they are only open until 7pm on Sat/Sun.
We could also try the Erlanger Baptist church again. I have two other friends that want to play too. But I remember EBCs gym schedule being weird.

oo I’ll play racquetball with you, i took it back when i was going to brockport. I havent played since then so I wont be much of a challange but Ill be there for almost a week

  5. Chris says:

Yeah, once that league took over EBC’s r-ball courts, it was hard to get a court time. I wonder if the league is still hogging it since they never rebuilt the courts at World of Sports…

  6. Paul C. says:

Ah I forgot about that league. No idea if they are still playing there.
