Busy weekend
I had a really busy weekend getting things ready for Little Sean. I started to make several lists: the hospital bag “what to pack” list, the “what needs to be done around the house before baby comes” list, and the “need to buy before baby comes” list. Paul and I hung up lots of stuff in Little Sean’s room too; the wall hangings, the two valances, the quilt, and a toy hammock. Everything is really starting to come together in the room and it is looking more and more ready to house a little boy! We are getting really excited, and with only 6 weeks left, we can hardly contain ourselves!

Congratulations Jeremiah & Kim!
Congratulations to Jeremiah and Kim on the birth of their son Elijah! He was born yesterday at 5:02am, weighing 7lbs 6oz. He’s so cute and has a FULL head of red hair! (He’s takes after his Auntie Emily!) 🙂

Fun with a DVD Kiosk

So the other night I went to return a DVD to the $1 per day DVD kiosk and it was out of order. I called their 800 # and the person on the end I guess remotely rebooted the machine. I watched as XP pro booted into windows and of course…its a PC, I couldn’t just leave it alone! Clicking the photos below will bring you to the gallery with larger images. the photos were taken on my cell phone (thanks dmoney!) so they aren’t the greatest, but still not bad for a cell phone!
onscreen keyboard i pulled up before the DVD store software started to run.
The start menu pulled up by pressing ctrl+esc (windows button seemed to be disabled)
How about some pinball??

32 Weeks
32-week picture is up! Click here to see it. All I can say is “whoa.” Had my weigh-in today as well (that’s what I call my doctor’s appointments :-)) and I’m up to 25 pounds on the dot. Not too bad. 7 1/2 weeks left to go!

Baby Reagan
Paul and I got to meet baby Reagan last night! We went out to eat with Jim and Cathy and they brought her along. She is SOOOO cute!! I was amazed at how tiny she was (although Cathy tends to disagree..hehe). I loved watching her little facial expressions and movements. Now I REALLY can’t wait to have our little Sean! 🙂

Weekend in NY
Brian, Ashley, and I went to New York this past weekend because Ashley threw me my first baby shower! We had a great time visiting family and friends and the shower was a blast! We played some great games including a new favorite; “poopy diaper.” Cate and Ashley took various candy bars, melted them, stirred them up, and put them into baby diapers. Everyone had to guess what the candy bars were by looking at, smelling and even tasting the “poop.” It was a riot and everyone got really into it. My face actually hurt after that game from laughing so hard!
Thanks to everyone who made the drive to come to the shower!Â
I have my next shower at the end of this month, thrown by my sister, Laura. It should be a lot of fun as well! I can’t believe that it’s already time for me to be having showers; and only 8 more weeks until Little Sean is due! This pregnancy seems to have flown by.Â
