We officially have the sweetest boy ever! We can’t believe that he’ll be 3 weeks old on Tuesday…time really flies!
We also moved into our new house this weekend. We really love it and are having fun putting everything away. It’s very homey and we can’t wait for little Sean to grow up here.
There’s some more pictures up; we have more every day and hopefully as I get into a schedule with him I’ll get more time to post them and get more pictures as well. We’re trying to get more pictures of him awake; we have so many of him sleeping!
This is one of my favorites:

I put more pictures up today, including his first bath! I can’t believe that he’ll be a week old tomorrow! Time really flies.
I’m actually starting to get some of my sanity back. Ever since we got home, he hasn’t allowed us to put him down anywhere, even for one minute. He hated his bouncy seat, swing and wouldn’t sleep for more than 2 minutes in the cradle. We’ve basically been holding him 24/7. Last night, he slept for 1.5 hours in the cradle, allowing me to get a little comfier sleep. He also spent a couple of sessions in the swing (about 15 minutes each) without screaming. It’s been really nice to be able to leave him for a minute to wash dishes, get some laundry going, or just sit without him for a minute. Don’t get me wrong, I love him to death…it’s just nice to look at him from afar every once in awhile!
We have his 1 week checkup today at 3pm. Hopefully he’s gaining weight well and still a healthy boy!

Here are some more pictures from the last day or two. Sorry it’s taken us a little while to get them up; we’ve been a little preoccupied. Things continue to go well here at home…Little Sean is fitting into our lives quite nicely 🙂

Paul and I were discharged from the hospital today; we got home around 2:30pm. He seemed to like the car ride home; slept most of the way. He looked so cute bundled up in that giant car seat! After we got home, he ate some lunch, then his Uncle Brian came to visit him for the first time. Man…they look alike! Little Sean’s hair is the exact color of Brian’s, it’s quite amazing. My hair is much lighter. We got out some pictures of Paul as an infant, and Sean definitely has his dad’s nose and cheeks and his feet for sure.
Megabyte reacted very well to Sean’s arrival. She did a lot of sniffing, but was very good about not getting up on him or anything. She’s very curious about all the smells and noises.
Currently, Sean is sleeping in the cradle that his Grandpa Cahill made him. He seems to really like it!!
We are all doing quite well and are really really happy to be home. Things are a lot easier and quieter here. We are working on getting the downstairs all set up for me, as I can’t go up and down the stairs except to go to bed for at least a week.
Check out pictures from today:
